Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi
Arrive in Varanasi, one of the oldest living cities in the world. Meet your tour representative and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk along the ghats or attend the famous Ganga Aarti ceremony.
Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 2: Varanasi to Sarnath and Bodhgaya
After breakfast, visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment. Explore Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Sarnath Museum, and the various monasteries. Later, drive to Bodhgaya, one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage destinations. Check in to the hotel and relax.

Day 3: Bodhgaya Sightseeing
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Bodhgaya. Visit the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. See the Vajrasana, Great Buddha Statue, Thai Monastery, Japanese Temple, Tibetan Monastery, and other sacred sites. You may also join a meditation session or spend quiet time in the temple complex.

Day 4: Bodhgaya to Rajgir and Nalanda
After breakfast, drive to Rajgir, an important site associated with Buddha’s teachings. Visit Griddhakuta Hill, Vishwa Shanti Stupa, and Venuvan. Continue to Nalanda to explore the ruins of the ancient Nalanda University, one of the world’s oldest centers of Buddhist learning. Return to Bodhgaya or stay in Rajgir depending on the route arrangement.

Day 5: Bodhgaya/Rajgir to Vaishali
After breakfast, travel to Vaishali, another important Buddhist destination. Visit the Ashokan Pillar, Relic Stupa, and other monasteries connected with Buddha’s last sermon and his disciple Ananda. Vaishali is also known as the place where Buddha announced his Mahaparinirvana.
Overnight stay in Vaishali.
Day 6: Vaishali to Kushinagar
After breakfast, proceed to Kushinagar, the sacred place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. On arrival, check in to the hotel and visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple, the reclining Buddha statue, Ramabhar Stupa, and surrounding monasteries built by different Buddhist countries. The atmosphere here is deeply peaceful and spiritual.

Day 7: Kushinagar to Lumbini and Departure
After breakfast, drive to Lumbini in Nepal, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Visit the Maya Devi Temple, Sacred Garden, Ashokan Pillar, Puskarini Pond, and international monasteries. After sightseeing, transfer to the airport or your onward destination with beautiful memories of this sacred Buddhist journey.
